Enterprise Intelligence

Understand your organization. Decide better. Lead change.

We connect the knowledge of your business —its processes, data, applications and owners— to understand dependencies, evaluate alternatives and prioritize initiatives.

Our specialists work directly with business and IT to turn that context into decisions and support their implementation.

Decisions we help with

The questions that usually sit behind a change initiative.

What do we mean by Enterprise Intelligence?

It is the connected knowledge of the organization —processes, capabilities, data, applications and owners— put to work to understand how the business operates, evaluate alternatives and coordinate decisions between business and IT about changes, priorities and investments. It is not a product of ours or a simple dashboard.

Which processes, systems and teams does an initiative affect?

Which applications should we keep, integrate, modernize or retire?

How do we prioritize investments and sequence technology evolution?

How do we connect the organization’s knowledge to a concrete implementation?

A connected model of capabilities, processes, applications, data and owners, with its metamodel, is the support and not the goal: it lets these questions be answered with evidence rather than scattered spreadsheets.

Services

Four groups of work. Each starts from a concrete problem and ends in a result you can understand.

Understand and prioritize

Problem
An initiative arrives and nobody is clear on what it touches, what depends on what, and what comes first.
What we do
We map and relate capabilities, processes, the application portfolio, dependencies and initiatives, together with the people responsible for each.
Deliverable
A map of the scope, the gaps identified, priorities and documented decisions.

Capabilities included

  • Business capability modeling
  • Application portfolio management
  • Business process analysis (BPA)
  • Process intelligence

Evaluate and plan change

Problem
Several alternatives are possible and the limits and criteria for choosing are not yet agreed.
What we do
We compare impact scenarios and define the target state and integrations. With business and IT we agree on alternatives, limits and decision criteria, and assign owners and a roadmap.
Deliverable
Compared impact scenarios, agreed decision criteria, a target state and a roadmap with owners.

Capabilities included

  • Target state and alternatives
  • Integrations and data flow
  • Strategic planning (OKR) and execution
  • Change governance, risk and compliance

Governance, risk and compliance are addressed to the extent that they shape decisions and the changes in scope. They do not replace a cybersecurity, compliance or transformation program.

Enable connected knowledge

Problem
The organization’s knowledge is scattered or trapped in tools that do not talk to each other, and every decision rebuilds it.
What we do
We organize and relate the information that already exists, making use of the organization’s current sources and tools. When the case requires it, we bring in or configure a platform: models, data migration, integration, support and adoption within the contracted scope.
Deliverable
Connected knowledge that can be used for the agreed decisions, with defined owners and rules of use. If the case includes a platform, it is configured and the teams are ready to use it.

We connect the knowledge that already exists

We start from the information each organization already has: Excel spreadsheets, documentation, historical enterprise architecture repositories and solutions such as SAP Signavio, SAP LeanIX, SAG ARIS or Bizzdesign products, among other sources.

We relate that knowledge to understand dependencies, evaluate impacts and guide decisions. We adapt to each client’s tools, maturity and priorities, making use of their existing investments.

We have a strategic alliance with Bizzdesign in the region, which backs our support in the evaluation, adoption and evolution of Unify, Hopex, Alfabet and Horizzon.

EAFlow can contribute an Operational Graph to keep the organization’s context connected and use it to analyze and lead changes.

Support execution: build and modernize

Problem
Operational gaps around the ERP, satellite applications that are hard to evolve, or custom developments carrying technical debt.
What we do
SGP Automation, Simbius’s engineering and automation practice, gives the decision continuity: a Forward Deployed Engineer works close to business and IT to build, integrate and modernize applications around the ERP.
Deliverable
An application increment built or modernized, integrated and verified against agreed acceptance criteria.

Modernization covers functional evolution, business rules, data, integrations and maintainability. Moving to the cloud is one possible option, not the whole definition of the service.

Technologies and alliances

We stand out as a consultancy that is agnostic about supporting tools: we adapt to each client’s maturity and budget, creating proposals that generate significant value.

Featured platform

EAFlow: connected context to decide, and governed construction with AI when it fits.

Context first: with processes, rules, data, applications and owners connected, the impact of a change can be analyzed and alternatives compared before deciding. Only then, if the case requires it, do we build.

EAFlow connects processes, rules, data, applications and owners through an Operational Graph. That foundation lets us work on the organization’s context to understand the impact of changes and guide the construction of solutions with AI. We combine that context with a practice of Governed Vibe Coding: defined scope, technical review, testing, approval and traceability.

The problem it helps solveEvery change to a process, a rule or an application forces the context to be rebuilt by hand: what depends on what, what is affected and who must approve. EAFlow keeps that context connected so it can be worked on.

When a case requires construction, integration or modernization, SGP Automation leads the engineering work and Simbius provides judgment and support. EAFlow has value as a platform in its own right.

Graph coverage depends on the available sources and on joint work with the organization; it does not replace technical review or professional judgment. We recommend EAFlow when it is the right solution, and we make use of the client’s existing investments.

Alliance

Strategic alliance with Bizzdesign in the region.

We support the evaluation, adoption and evolution of Bizzdesign solutions to connect the organization’s knowledge, processes, portfolios and transformation decisions.

The problem it helps solve: business and IT do not share one view of the portfolio, processes and transformation, and every decision starts from scratch.

Specialist consultancy in Enterprise Intelligence and transformation.

How we work

Direct involvement of experienced practitioners to understand the context, guide decisions and support their implementation.

We focus our work on problems where experience can change the quality of the decision. Specialists take part directly, work with business and IT, and support a delivery with an agreed scope and acceptance criteria.

Five commitments

  1. The right specialists, with defined involvement.
  2. A person accountable for the engagement and direct contact.
  3. Agreed scope, capacity and availability.
  4. Deliverables and acceptance criteria you can understand.
  5. Continuity of knowledge and handover as contracted.

Evaluating does not commit you to building

An evaluation can lead to configuring a tool, making use of an existing capability, or keeping a solution as it is. A diagnosis has value even when it leads to no development.

Track record helps decide better

Recognizing operational exceptions, avoiding fragile integrations, prioritizing a migration or preserving a critical rule are decisions where knowing the sector makes the difference.

A compact team, precise proposals

A compact organization and the use of automation and AI in our own work translate, proposal by proposal, into scope, timeline, cost or quality.

Senior involvement, defined

Senior involvement refers to the people and responsibilities agreed in each proposal; not every team member has that track record.

When the change requires building or modernizing an application.

With SGP Automation we address operational gaps around the ERP, satellite applications that are hard to evolve, and custom developments carrying technical debt. A senior engineer works close to business and IT to understand the rules, lead the implementation and verify the agreed delivery.

Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) is the practice; the Forward Deployed Engineer is the professional. The FDE takes part in construction, integration and validation.

Explore

Understand the case, its dependencies and the alternatives. Defined scope and fee.

Build

Build or modernize an increment, integrate it and verify its acceptance.

Evolve

Maintain continuity and evolution within an agreed perimeter, capacity and conditions.

Integration and automation: we have expert experience in IBM webMethods (IBM webMethods Integration) to connect applications, APIs and systems. It is professional experience, not a certification or a partner status with IBM.

These modes organize the engineering practice. Not every architecture service turns into a development project. The construction tools and technologies are explained on the SGP Automation site.

Experience with organizations across the region

Throughout our track record we have supported organizations across Latin America on process, information and technology projects.

That experience brings knowledge of different sectors and their particularities, to understand each client’s context and guide their decisions.
